Lambeth Council are planning to install more cycle parking in or near our estate. Please tell them if you would use it.
The parking they are proposing is at:
- Junction of Abbots Park and Tulse Hill (phase 12)
- Roupell Road (phase 12)
- Outside Valens House (phase 12)
- Outside McCormick House (phase 14),
- Outside Hart House (phase 14),
- Junction of Challice Way and Upper Tulse Hill (phase 14)
This is the plan but it hasn’t yet been approved or confirmed. So please write to your local councillors if you would use it.

“I understand there is a plan to install cycle parking at X but this hasn’t yet been approved. I really need cycle parking because of X. Please confirm you will support the scheme and ensure it is promptly approved.”
If you can’t use this cycle parking but would use cycle parking if it was elsewhere again please contact cycleparking@lambeth.gov.uk and copy us in. Note the council can only install cycle parking on council owned roads (basically High Trees, Roupell Road and Upper Tulse Hill).
There’s also cycle parking provision available for NHG residents and SHG residents. MTVH promised in February 2025 that new cycle hangers were ordered but we only have access to storage outside Sheppard House so far.
We know cycle parking is important to people on the estate. Now let’s convince the council of this.
