Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP will open the meeting and there will be lots of time for questions. Come to hear how your MP can help estate residents.
The Annual General Meeting is our most important meeting of the year. It’s where we discuss what happened in 2024 and plan for 2025. Please come with your ideas.
If you’d like to get more involved the Annual General Meeting is the best way to find out how. But this part is strictly optional. Here is why other people have got involved
The agenda is:
7pm to 7:30pm
Speech by Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP, followed by questions.
7:30pm to 8pm
- Discussion of accounts
- Election of chair, secretary, treasurer and up to nine other committee members. Chaired by Cllr Olga Fitzroy
- Any amendments to our constitution
- Discussion of our policies on code of conduct for members, code of conduct for committee members, diversity and inclusion, privacy policy and complaints
The following proposed constitutional amendments have been received
- The Annual General Meeting agrees that next January or February, 2025, there be a Special General Meeting which can discuss the constitution and make amendments.
If you wish to stand for committee or propose amendments to any document except the constitution you can do so on the night. It is not possible to propose amendments to the constitution on the night. The deadline has passed for submitting changes.
If you’d like to stand for committee you are strongly encouraged to attend on the night and propose yourself. If you can’t do that please ask someone who knows you to attend and propose you.
8pm to 8:30pm
Workshops. We’ll decide on the night what workshops to run so please come with your ideas. But it’s likely to include
- Gardening (Incredible Edible Lambeth will be coming to lead this)
- MTVH cyclical workshops
- Leaseholder damp issues
- Transparency of leaseholder service charges
If you can’t make all of the AGM you’re welcome to come for a part of it.
