Please come to our general meeting on Monday 24th July to discuss leaseholder issues, including the proposal to disband St Martins Leaseholder Action Group
General Meeting for St Martins Leaseholders
Monday 24th July, 7:30pm
Scout Hut, High Trees, SW2 3PX
(near to Upper Tulse Hill, opposite Sheppard House)
All resident leaseholders are welcome. Non resident leaseholders are welcome to attend as observers.
The agenda is
- Proposal to disband St Martins Leaseholder Action Group
- Getting transparent MTVH service charges
- MTVH cyclical works (Antonio plans to propose this motion)
- Southern service charges, including the high cost of buildings insurance
- Getting transparent NHG service charges
- Getting works done for leaseholders affected by damp
Cllr Olga Fitzroy will be present. She is a local councillor and a member of the housing scrutiny committee. So she can explain how Lambeth Council can help with our campaigns.
The St Martins Leaseholder Action Group was active early this millennium but hasn’t held a meeting for many years. But there’s still £1,000 in their bank account. We are proposing to dissolve the group and do all leaseholder campaigning via the residents association. The original membership list has been lost. So all resident leaseholders are entitled to attend and vote on whether or not to dissolve the group, regardless of whether you were originally a member of the group.
