MTVH service charge statements for 2020/2021 have now arrived. They are much more transparent than previously.
Gardening and external cleaning are now listed under “Total Estate Expenditure”. This means what residents pay is based on the rateable value of their property. This is more transparent and should avoid the problems we had in 2020 where some residents were paying £56 for external cleaning and some £120 for the same service.
This is a big win in our campaign for transparent service charges. Thanks to everyone who helped in the campaign.
