As reported in the South London Press, Metropolitan owed its tenants money for water rates from 1st April 2004 to 31st March 2016. The three successor landlords have inherited this liability. They have now all agreed to pay.
MTVH has already agreed to refund their tenants. They will credit their rent account in January 2022.
NHG have recently agreed to refund their tenants. They will credit their rent account in January 2022.
Optivo have agreed to refund their tenants. However, unlike the other landlords on our estate they do not at present intend to reimburse you automatically. Tenants will have to make a claim themselves. They should receive a letter by the end of 2021 giving details on how to claim. If you haven’t received this letter please contact us
Note the overcharging only applies to people who were tenants between 1st April 2004 to 31st March 2016. It does not apply to leaseholders
