Decent Youth Facilities for St Martin’s

This is an old post, for up to date information on this campaign please see here

When the building of the City Heights Academy was approved, Lambeth Council promised the youths of the community a Youth Centre, and to refurbish the local community centre. So far this has not been done. The Youth Centre has been built, but is not available for the community, and no-one will say when it will be open to the local youths

We’ll be going door to door tomorrow with a petition calling on Lambeth Council to honour their promises and make the leisure facilities available to the the local community

Petitioning – Decent Youth Facilities for St Martins
Saturday 10th January, 1pm – 3pm
Meet outside the Community Centre on Abbots Park

All welcome to help

If you can’t make the petitioning you can download a copy of the petition here and take it round your friends and neighbours

We’ll also be advertising the events we’re planning this month. We’ll be using this leaflet and this poster.

See everyone on Saturday.
