The High Trees CDT are running a zoom course on 11th and 12th February about how you can do work like the work we do.
On this course you will explore and develop your understanding of power, which is what drives community organising: what power means and how power can be built in community to overcome social injustice and create change.
This two session course will take place on Zoom on Thursday & Friday from 10am to 1.30pm on the 11th February & 12th February. The course also provides a reminder of the basics of community organising which are covered in our Introduction to Community Organising course. Sessions are designed so that everybody can take part and share their ideas and experiences and learn some practical tools and skills. All participants will get access to teaching online resources for the duration of the course and the opportunity of 1:1 sessions.
In line with new government guidelines and COVID 19 regulations, this course will be delivered online via Zoom. Key resources will be accessible via any digital device including smart phone, tablet and PC/laptop. Full support including 1:1s with your tutor will be provided.
