Near neighbours gave us funding last year for these workshops, and we are making good progress 🙂 . During the last workshop 12 local residents helped us come up with ideas, and we hope more people can join us at the next workshop.
Metropolitan Housing Association saw how many residents were willing to participate and decided to help us with funding: in partnership with Pinnacle they have kindly donated money and expertise to start building a planter and a sign in the area, and we are hoping to do this in spring.
Incredible Edible Lambeth has won a grant to work with us and other nearby estates to improve our green spaces by adding biodiversity and growing food. Learn more here.
We have two spaces to work on, near Gaywood Close and Abbots Park. Please let me know if you are interested in joining us to plan for these. We are hoping to do some planting this spring, when hopefully there will be less restrictions for people to meet.
