This scaffolding has been outside 98 – 121 Gaywood Close since April 2019 but nobody is working on it. We’re campaigning to get it removed
We’ll be going door to door with a petition to Metropolitan asking them to remove it as nobody is working on it.
Can you help out on one of these days:
- Saturday 1st February, 11:30am, meet outside the stairwell of 98-121 Gaywood Close
- Tuesday 4th February, 6:30pm, meet outside the stairwell of 98-121 Gaywood Close
If the petition fails to fix the problem we’ve got a plan to escalate the campaign.
If you can’t make the dates but live at the bottom end of Gaywood Close please complain to Metropolitan
What outstanding works could there be? How can nobody in (supposed) authority not know? The scaffolding firm must have an idea as they don’t keep these up for free. Who’s paying for it all?

Hello,
We have a scaffolding company and came across this article.
First I would make sure the company is still in business?
Then, if you have a current address, send a to be signed for letter advising that if they don’t remove the scaffolding by (date) you will assume legal possession and dispose of it as you see fit.
We are sorry to hear of your trouble and we hope you are able to resolve it.
