Writeaway an event taking place on Wednesday 29th May from 1-7pm in the Rotunda Community Hall on the Cressingham Gardens Estate. This is an opportunity for young people aged 11-16 to work with published writers and professional performers, to generate and showcase their own work.
We hope the creative work will be a journey of discovery and vehicle for empowerment; enabling young people to gain confidence, improve feelings of self esteem and develop a sense of belonging to a wider community in a safe place.
The project is fully funded and attendance is free. Support staff will be in attendance. Booking must be made by a parent or guardian in advance. Email annecooperwpe@gmail.com to do this
