We’re planning a major new campaign on damp.
Our first step will be visiting residents in affected blocks to ensure they have all made a formal complaint to their landlord.
If this solves the problem that’s great, but it’s likely we’ll need further steps. We’ll discuss what next steps people are up for at a general meeting in the spring.
Here’s how you can help.
- If your property is affected by damp please make a formal complaint to your landlord if you haven’t done so already. Please let us know when you’ve done it
- Regardless of whether your property is affected by damp please join us on our campaign day. We’ll be knocking on doors on the affected blocks to make sure residents have made a complaint about damp. We’re meeting on Saturday 19th January, 2pm, outside the High Trees Community Development Trust. Let us know you’re coming so we have an idea of numbers.
- If the complaint doesn’t work we’ll discuss how to escalate the campaign at a general meeting in the spring. But if you have some ideas now please contact us.
