The High Trees CDT are re running two workshops to raise awareness of the rights available to local people in the 2011 Localism Act in June.
On Tuesday 28th June between 7-9pm they are doing a Community Rights workshop at High Trees. During this workshop we will be looking at the right to bid, build, reclaim land, challenge and listing assets of community value. This is aimed at people who would like to protect spaces that are important to the local community, that want to see a change to the use of lad, see something built in the locality or even possibly to challenge and enter the tendering process for local services.
On Thursday 30th June between 7-9pm they will be hosting a Neighbourhood Planning workshop at High Trees.
Tulse Hill Forum have now been designated as a neighbourhood plan forum by Lambeth and are currently working towards raising awareness and participation in the process as well as ensuring that local peoples voices are heard and accurately represented in the plan for the area that will inform developments here for the next 15 to 25 years.
