We want to identify and solve key leaseholder issues in 2016.
The first stage of this plan is a meeting to which all leaseholders are invited. This will identify the key issues
Meeting – What are the Common Leaseholder Issues on St Martins Estate
Tuesday 19th January, 8pm
High Trees Community Development Centre
(junction of Tulse Hill and Upper Tulse Hill)
Download publicity here , if you can help distribute these posters please contact us
If you’re a leaseholder please come to let us know what issues concern you. We aim to identify a few common issues out of that meeting.
If you can’t make this meeting but still have concerns about your leasehold please contact us.
Based on the outcome of this meeting we’ll have a second meeting (probably in February) to which we invite all leaseholders, plus someone from Metropolitan. We’ll put the issues we identified to the Metropolitan representative and see if they can be solved that way.
If the issues can’t be solved in stage 2, we’ll move on to stage 3. We’ll approach the leasehold advisory service to find out which legal avenues are available for us to get the stage 1 issues resolved. When the leasehold advisory service came in 2015 they said this is often the best way to get communal issues resolved.
Please come to the January meeting to help us get this issue resolved.
NOTE: The St Martins TRA aims to represent all residents of the estate, not just leaseholders. This work only concerns leaseholders but we’ve also done work on communal lighting, youth facilities and social events which benefit all residents
