Community Safety

Here are some ways to help make our estate a safer place.

You can come to a St Martin’s Safer Neighbourhood Panel meeting, to meet the police, discuss local priorities and ask questions. The next meeting is 7th August from 6.30 pm, at the Scout Hut (High Trees Hub). Details of future meetings will be here.

You can go to a community contact session with the local police, to raise concerns and issues. Details of the contact sessions, as well as contact details for our local Safer Neighbourhoods police team, are here. The next session is 6th August 10am to 10.45am, outside the Coop, 178 Norwood Rd.

If you are concerned about anti-social behaviour, there’s advice on what it is and how to report it on our website, here.

Neighbourhood Watch are currently encouraging the wider use of StreetSafe, a platform where you can report where you don’t feel safe in a public place but where a crime hasn’t occurred. An example of this could be a dark street where the streetlights don’t work. Details of the scheme and how to use it are here.
