
Early August saw serious civic disruption across the UK. As the Residents’ Association Committee, we would like to affirm that there is no place on our estate for behaviour that causes fear and pain, and to share some links that might be of use to anyone in our community affected by current events.
The last week has witnessed serious civic disruption across the UK, driven by shocking and ongoing violence. The riots that have taken place have reminded us all of the distress, damage and hurt caused by prejudice and intolerance.
St Martin’s Estate is a strong and supportive, diverse, multicultural community. We look out for each other, and for the wellbeing of us all. As the Residents’ Association Committee, we would like to affirm that there is no place on our Estate for behaviour that causes fear and pain, and to share some links that might be of use to anyone in our community affected by current events.
