The Kynaston House lift has been broken from 30th August 2023 to 19th November 2023. Residents deserve compensation.
Lack of a lift badly affected people in Kynaston House. Here are some of the stories we’ve heard
“I am recovering from a Caesarean section. I am unable to leave my flat without a lift”
“I have problems with my back. It is exhausting and painful to go up so many stairs”
” I have a longstanding knee issue and going up and down a number of flights of stairs regularly is extremely painful”
“I have to use crutches”
“It’s difficult for my young children to climb so many stairs”
“It’s hard to do shopping without a lift, particularly if you have a walking stick”
We got compensation when the Gwynne House lift failed. We should be able to get compensation for Kynaston House people too.
