The front door of 1-10 Harbin House was broken from 19th December 2022 to early May 2023. We are demanding compensation.
Having a broken front door really affected residents
“I reported the broken door numerous times including to the housing officer and the estate manager when they visited my property. It was ignored”
“The banging noise from the door was constant and intrusive (I work from home) including during the night”
“Strangers were free to enter the block and use it as a toilet”
“I was having confrontations with strangers coming in to the block for shelter at night. It was a huge safety problem”
When the lift in Sheppard House was broken residents got £10 compensation for every week the lift was broken. Harbin House residents deserve compensation here too.
