NHG and Southern have recently installed new cycle parking. MTVH haven’t. But MTVH residents really need cycle parking

Here are some of the stories we’ve heard

• “I’d leave the car and cycle more if there was more space to park it” (Abbots Park)
• “I have three young grandchildren. There’s not enough space in the flat to park their bikes” (Gaywood Close)
• “I live on the 6th floor. It’s hard to get my bike to my flat is the lift is not working” (Gwynne House)
• “I need somewhere for my guests to store their bikes” (Williams House)
• “Bicycles are often left on the landing which is a fire hazard. We need a proper place to store them” (Saunders House)
• “My bike was stolen from the communal area of Sheppard House” (Sheppard House)
• “My flat is too small to store mine and my partner bike. You provide parking for cars but nothing for bikes.” (Roupell Road)
• “I have a big family in a small flat. If we leave our bikes outside they’d be stolen” (Gaywood Close)
• “I use the bike to commute and I need space to store in securely” (McCormick House)
