  • An introduction to field recording
  • Exploring the local area through microphones and making your own recordings
  • Thinking about what sound can tell us about life in the city

To reserve a place, please call the community centre (0208 6743038) OR turn up on the day, but please note places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Slot one: 2 – 3.30pm

Slot two: 3.30 – 5pm

What is SONCITIES?

SONCITIES is a research project exploring how people living in London experience sound in their everyday lives. It is based at Oxford University. This event will give you a taster of the work we’re doing and introduce you to field recording. If you find it interesting and would like to get involved in the research, you can find out more on the day.
