This winter the gardening team have budget to help whoever is interested in planting a fruit tree on the estate. (apple, plums, cherries!)
If you have a suitable space near you and you’d like to look after a tree please let us know.
We can also plant fruit bushes. We were thinking about raspberries or blackberries, but please do make suggestions, if you have a favourite type of fruit.
We can provide support by:
- getting approval from the housing Association
- buying the tree for you
- helping you planting it
- give you support for maintaining it
The space should be in a sunny and accessible spot.
If you can get your neighbours involved even better, you could grow a mini orchard!
