Don’t know how to get rid of that big old sofa? Here are some ways you can get rid of bulky stuff
If your item is in good condition you can recycle it for free by:
- Leave a picture of it near the bins area and ask people to contact you if interested
- Call a charity to collect it (for example British Heart Foundation, icollectclothes, debra )
- Post it on websites such as Freecycle, NextDoor, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree. (You can also sell it using these website – only Freecycle is for Free only items)
If your items isn’t in good condition and can’t be reused, please don’t leave it by the bins: you’ll need to book for bulky waste collection through the Lambeth website.
