How Lambeth’s Controlled Parking Proposals Affect Our Estate

Lambeth Council are putting forward plans for restricted parking on roads between Tulse Hill and Brixton Hill, and to the west of Brixton Hill.

Residents in the affected areas have been sent a document explaining the plans, together with a map. The maps can be seen online.
To see the maps in detail you must either attend Brixton Library, or attend a drop-in session 1st October at Richard Atkins Primary School. (10am-4pm)

Most roads in St Martins Estate are not directly affected, with one exception, “High Trees”, which fronts Baldwin House, Hart House, Burnell House, Portland House, Morrison and Sheppard houses. High Trees will have parking bays, with restricted parking, plus single yellow and double yellow lines.

In addition to this the main roads which lie next to the estate would also be affected, i.e. Tulse Hill, Upper Tulse Hill and Roupell Road. so there will be a knock on effect on the estate roads.

We are given choices on the number of days, and what hours the restrictions will be. To take part in the survey you must use the Unique Reference Number, “URN” on the envelope containing the letter. You have until 20th October to express an opinion.

Alternatively you can request a paper version of the questionnaire by calling 020 7926 7720.

This is not a matter where the Tenants & Residents Association can express an opinion. However, we encourage residents to express their personal opinions.
