High Trees CDT are running a free course “How Society Works” on Saturday 23rd July 2016
The course is designed to give you the information necessary to effectively engage and interact with the decision making process in your local area and society. Introduction to the various organisational structures that make up British society.
Explores the nature and role of citizens, position rights and responsibilities in the democractic process through engagement and participation in political life, organisations and local communities – neighbourhoods.

- Become confident in holding those you elect accountable
- Find out how to get your voice heard
- Understand the decision-making process and your part in it
