The TRA led a major campaign last year to open the Dip Site. We’re delighted we succeeded. Please come to the opening ceremony to celebrate.
Throughout 2015 the TRA led a campaign to use the Dip Site as a youth centre, which is what we were promised when the new academy was granted planning permission. We started a petition, lobbied the council and finally, in November 2015 we won.
The Dip Site is now used for youth sessions anyone can take part in.
To celebrate the amazing work of all involved there’s a formal opening in May:
