Metropolitan have asked we adopt a standard constitution. Agreed, but with some amendments. You can see the revised constitution here
Social Events
Probably too late to organise a social event for the summer, but we should consider having a special St Martin’s contingent to the fireworks on 5th November in Brockwell Park. We can sort that out nearer the time
Noise from the Community Hall
A resident complained several hirers of the community hall made vastly excessive noise. Various proposals to sort out the issue but no agreement.
[UPDATE: The community hall management committee has now asked for a formal complaint. The resident has submitted the complaint and the management committee are investigating]
Fenstanton School
Agreed to invite Jim Henderson, the head of the Fenstanton Academy, to our AGM on 30th September to discuss traffic concerns with him. [UPDATE: Henderson has accepted]
Next Meeting
We won’t have a full general meeting in August, simply a meeting to plan our AGM in September. This will be on Tuesday 26th August [UPDATE: We’re meeting at the High Trees Development Centre at 7:30pm]
