When Poetry Slabs visited our estate

On 29 February, Poetry Slabs had their first public meeting, at the Pop Up Library in the Scout Hut at High Trees in Tulse Hill

Local makers and artists mixed with some other movers and shakers to listen to poetry, look at pictures, eat slabs of cake (inscribed with a quote from Oscar Wilde), and imprint words all their own into wet West Norwood clay. And we imagined what it might be like to live in a poetrified portion of South-East London. Amongst the small crowd was Annie from local radio station Effrasound. You can listen to the short feature she made as a result of the afternoon here on soundcloud.
