Earlier this year residents of Tebbs House had to walk through raw sewage to get to their flats. We’ve put in a complaint but have not received an adequate reply. We’ve now escalated the complaint
Last month the TRA was in touch with the council about the lack of bins in Burnell House. Residents of Burnell House now have two functioning bins so our campaigning has paid off.
22 residents have reported the atrocious state of the Rickards Close pavement, but Metropolitan still haven’t done anything about it. The TRA has just put in a formal complaint.
One of our members recently did a tour of High Trees to see how many lights were out. 81 lights are now broken, one of the worst figures this year. You can see the full report here and the background here

The pavement in Rickards Close is in an awful state. The picture at the top of this page, taken on 27th June, gives you an idea just how bad it is. 22 people have now signed a repair report demanding Metropolitan takes action. Watch this space to see if they listen to us.
Last month (June 2015) the TRA reported that one of the two bins outside Burnell House were not being emptied. The residents now have two bins, but also a third bin that is upended to make it unusable, see the picture at the top of this page. Last Wednesday a couple of TRA members went door to door in Burnell House. The issue with the Tebbs House sewage is finally fixed, but it should not have taken over five weeks to resolve an emergency issue like this. We’ve put in a formal complaint to Metropolitan about this. You can see details here
