MTVH cyclical works

MTVH carried out cyclical works in much of our estate between 2022 – 2024. The works included cleaning gutters, repainting communal areas and, in some cases, other remedial work.

If you’re received your bill we suggest you ask for a detailed breakdown. Make sure you’re only being billed for work done. You can submit a request for this at www.mtvh.co.uk/contact-us/homeowner-enquiry.

We know some of this work is of poor standard. We’re asking residents to sign these pro forma complaint forms. If you can see any omissions please contact us.

MTVH have replied to complaints in a manner we think is misleading. They have subsequently apologised. Full details here.

MTVH did a report in October 2024 about the cyclical works. It seems this is their final word on the subject and if we want to get any further action we will need to escalate via complaints.

It is important we do not allow MTVH to accept cyclical works of such poor quality. We all have to pay for it: tenants pay via their rent, leaseholders pay directly. And we all want to live in a place that looks cared for.

The original reports of poor quality work we received are archived here.

MTVH promised us a report on these deficiencies by 15th August 2024. On 2nd September 2024 we were told “Despite our efforts to locate the original report, we were unable to trace it”. We have not got a date for a new report. Cllr Olga Fitzroy says “I find this absolutely astonishing, and I do not expect a single penny of this wasteful exercise to end up on the bills of the residents of St Martin’s estate”
