We know that there are issues with parking on St Martin’s. Recently, residents will have received a proposal for parking restrictions to be applied to High Trees. The proposal, from Lambeth Council, is to restrict parking on the road between 8.30am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
According to the proposal, residents will be able to park their vehicles on High Trees, provided they have a resident permit. The cost will vary according to car engine emissions. Residents will still be able to park on side-roads and in their garages, as at present.
As yet there is no proposal from our three Housing Associations for a parking scheme for the rest of our estate, though this is under consideration.
