If you live in High Trees, Gaywood Close or Abbots Park you can respond to the consultation here . You will need a unique reference number sent to you by the council. If you do not have this number please phone the council on 020 7926 6799 to request it.
The map on the consultation documents includes High Trees, Gaywood Close and Abbots Park. But the text says the consultation document only covers “the public highway sections of High Trees”. Gaywood Close and Abbots Park are private roads owned by MTVH. MTVH have told us they are considering a new parking strategy but we currently have no definite proposals, nor a date for a consultation.
Cllr Olga Fitzroy adds “This is only the initial engagement rather than a statutory consultation on a firm proposal, and because of the complications of this area having 4 different authorities responsible for parking, I would not expect Lambeth to have a firm proposal to consult on for some time. Either way, I would expect any proposed CPZ [Controlled Parking Zone] to be something agreed between Lambeth and the Housing Association, and [fellow councillor] Saleha and I will be putting in a formal response to this consultation along those lines”
