Fenstanton and Holy Trinity May Soon Merge

There is a proposal to merge Fenstaton School and Holy Trinity School as an alternative to closure. Please fill out the consultation.

Lambeth Council has proposed to close Fenstanton School on our estate and Holy Trinity School on Upper Tulse Hill, the residents association opposes closure. The schools hope to avoid closure if Fenstanton School and Holy Trinity School can merge. This combined school would use the Fenstanton site.

Please respond to this consultation online. Here is the consultation. The consultation ends on Friday 28th February.  A cabinet meeting is scheduled for Monday 17 March, when the school expects the final decision to be made.

This document gives full details of what is proposed.

We expect there to be a public meeting to discuss these proposals on the week commencing 24th February. Full details when we get them.

You can contact your local councillors at ofitzroy@lambeth.gov.uk and sjaffer@lambeth.gov.uk . They have asked the council to “do everything in your power to keep this well-loved and lively [Fenstanton] school that is the beating heart of St Martin’s Estate”.
