At the Annual General Meeting it was agreed that for leaseholders we need to fix the underlying issue (for example, broken communal drainage pipes in Harbin House) rather than focus on getting our landlords to install dry lining. This issue will be different for each leaseholder.
So we can’t do a general campaign backed by the RA but we can give people guidance and peer support for their own campaigns.
We were thinking of setting up a meeting for all affected leaseholders. Craig, a Southern leaseholder in Hart House, can go through what he has done to complain to Southern. Then people can share their experiences and hopefully we can set up a peer support network.
