SHG is complaining about non existent metal gates

We know that SHG have written to some residents demanding they remove a metal gate from their front door. In all the examples we’ve seen the resident did not have a metal gate on their front door. If this happened to you please complain, you may get compensation

I wish to lodge an official complaint

I have recently received a letter regarding ‘metal gates and fire safety risks’ and it states “We’ve seen a metal security gate fixed across your front door”. I have no gate on my front door.

I once again want an ‘official complaint’ logged and an investigation in to why I am receiving letters accusing me of something I clearly haven’t done!

Whoever carried out your so called “inspections” as mentioned in the first sentence clearly haven’t been thorough enough.

I await your response.

If SHG has complained about a non existent metal gate it is important that you complain. It is wrong in principle for SHG to make false claims about residents. And one resident got £50 compensation after SHG admitted they should never has sent the letter.
