Tillman House bins

The bins outside Tillman House are broken. MTVH is being slow to provide a replacement.

The status so far is:

In early July 2024 resident of Tillman House reported the bins broken using mtvh.online. MTVH claimed the broken bins were not their responsiblitity
In mid July 2024 MTVH admitted responsibility and said they we would have news on their replacement within two weeks
In early August 2024 Cllr Saleha Jaffer chased MTVH
In late August 2024 MTVH told Cllr Jaffer “I received a quote for a bin replacement from the one supplier on our books but we are struggling to get a delivery date from them”

This delay is not acceptable. A broken bin is a health and safety issue. If MTVH cannot get a bin from their regular supplier they should use an alternative one.

We’re working with Cllr Jaffer to ensure MTVH understands how serious this is. If we don’t get an adequate response by early October we’ll consider how to escalate this further.
