Come to our Community Garden Get Together on Saturday 14th September to find out how to make our community garden even better
There’s lots of butternut squash and tomatoes growing in our community garden on Challice Way. Also rocket and salad seedlings. See pictures here. But we need more residents to help
If you’d like to help the best way is to come to our Community Open Day
Community Garden Get Together
Saturday 14th September, 11am to 2pm
Meet by the Challice Way planters
Drinks and snacks will be provided. Please bring your own mug.
And please put these dates in your diaries too
- Bat Walk, Tuesday 24th September 7pm to 8:30pm, meet at 28 Challice Way, details here
- Bulb Planting, morning of Saturday 26th October, Huggins Corner, exact time TBC
If you can’t make these events but would like to get involved please contact us. There’s lots of ways you can help out with our gardening project. You can help with planting, or weeding, or turning the compost. And we need more people to give us their green waste that we can turn into compost.
