Demand good quality MTVH cyclical works

MTVH did “cyclical works” in much of the estate in 2023. If it was of poor quality, please complain.

MTVH did cyclical works in the most of the estate in 2023. It covered all blocks except 1-20 Gaywood Close, McCormick House and the Challice Way blocks.

The work would have included cleaning gutters and repainting communal areas. It may have included other work

If you are unhappy with this work please complain, and email CyclicalWorks@stmartinstra.blog to tell us you have done so

Residents have told us of peeling paint and other defects that have occurred in the wake of the cyclical renovation and redecoration works carried out by MTVH. Here’s one example of poor quality work. There are many others.

This is simply unacceptable. We intend to ask MTVH to ensure that any defects are made good, without passing further cost to tenants and leaseholders, and to address the issues of quality that have arisen so that they don’t recur in future cyclical works.

To support this campaign, we would be grateful if you would do the following.

  • Let us know of any defects in your block (especially peeling paint) following from or caused by the cyclical works, sending pictures if possible. Email CyclicalWorks@stmartinstra.blog
  • Let us know if you have already reported or complained about these defects
  • If you have not complained already, consider following up with MTVH through their complaints channel

Thank you in advance for supporting our approach: we want to make sure that we all get the very best service from MTVH and that they take the concerns of residents seriously. When we have a full picture of where problems exist, we will follow up through the residents association.
