Meet Milena, our gardening prodigy who yesterday won 1st place at The Blooming Lambeth Awards ’23 for the Most Enthusiastic Young Gardener award.
At the tender age of 8, Milena has been a vital part of our gardening group since its inception during the COVID pandemic when she was just a little one.
Rain or shine, she’s always there, lending a hand at every gardening event. She even generously extended her green thumb to assist in planting a community garden in another part of the estate.
Milena is a true gardening maestro:
- Expertly transplanting potted plants with care and precision
- A master of sanding down freshly crafted planters, boasting knowledge of grit paper grades
- She’s an artist at heart, adding vibrant touches to garden planters and decorative stones
- Her talent shines in creating excellent plant identification signs
- She’s been an active member of the community composting initiative
