If you’re an NHG leaseholder NHG may owe you money for the 2022/23 financial year
You should have received a letter from NHG dated 28 September 2023 with the subject line ‘Your Service charge Annual Statement for the year ending 31st March 2023’. If you haven’t please let us know.
NHG has used a template that makes the content of this letter very confusing. The important information is on the table at the bottom of page 4 of this letter. The final line ‘Your Surplus’ tells you how much NHG owes you for this year. Provided the ‘Grand Total’ row is less than the ‘Your charges 2022-23’ row they will owe you money. An example table is below using made up figures (that are much smaller than the real ones you’ll have) as an example.
We recommend you ask that the surplus is paid directly to your bank account. Please email your housing officer and copy in Jan Nairn (Estate Operations Manager) on jan.nairn@nhg.org.uk . Include a copy of a recent bank statement header showing your name, address and bank details.
