Motorcyclists on the Challice Way pavement

Are you concerned about motorcyclists riding on the Challice Way pavement. If so, please contact your local councillor

A resident recently contacted us to say there was a problem with mopeds and motor bikes driving along pavements outside Holbrook house at the south end of Challice Way. The residents claimed motorcyclists use the pavement to cut through from the South Circular to Challice Way.

Do you think this is a problem too? If you do can you please email Cllr Saleha Jaffer, our local councillor, on sjaffer@lambeth.gov.uk . A one line message saying “I am concerned about motor bikes driving along pavements outside Holbrook house at the south end of Challice Way” is fine. Or you can use your own words.

Email sjaffer@lambeth.gov.uk. Tell her to stop motorcyclists cycling on the pavement

Cllr Jaffer will be at a police liaison meeting on Thursday 19th October. She’s happy to raise the matter with the police, but needs evidence it’s a serious problem.

Riding a motorbike on the pavement in a crime. I know it’s hard to get enough evidence when you see it happening, for example a picture of a registration number. But if you can do this please report the incident to the police. You can do it online or phone 101. And let us know when you’ve done it.
