A resident recently contacted us to say there was a problem with mopeds and motor bikes driving along pavements outside Holbrook house at the south end of Challice Way. If you’re affected, here’s our advice
The residents claimed motorcyclists use the pavement to cut through from the South Circular to Challice Way.
If it is, please contact us whenever you see such an incident. If you only get a fleeting glance just give the date and time of the incident. If you can take a photograph please report it to the police. You can either report online or phone 101. Then please let us know the date and time of the incident and the crime number.
Once we have evidence this problem is widespread we can report it to Safer Neighbourhoods (the police outreach team) to ask them to make it a priority. Or we can report it to the housing associations and ask for extra security. But first we need to prove to them this is a serious problem.
